Trolling
No, not that kind of trolling ...
Icelanders seem like generally rational , practical people, except for a strangely persistent belief in elves and trolls. Most deny them, of course, but prefer to play it safe.
So, we set out to find one this morning.
The search begins at a 2km trailhead near a typical remote and lonely homestead.
The trail winds it's way along the coast past views that even a rainy day can't spoil.

We knew we were getting closer when we turned a corner and saw a magic archway bridge!
Hmmm, maybe there's something to this?
Pretty amazing photos/landscapes. The bridge reminds me of a pelvic bone of an ancient giant. The stone structure is surreal - out of a fairy tale.
